Anchored by the key dates of September 11 (the anniversary of the terrorists attacks) and September 17 (Constitution Day, the anniversary of the signing of the Constitution by our Founding Fathers), the schedule for each day has a separate focus.
Each day celebrates and honors:
- A First Principle
- Founding Fathers and/or other Patriots who were key to making that First Principle come alive in America
- Vital documents or speeches reflective of that First Principle
- Flags from America’s past and today that are emblematic of that First Principle
Scores of schools, community organizations, senior living centers, rotaries, law firms, government agencies, courts, and others commemorate Patriot Week. Most participants are focused on their own members, employees, students, etc. However, there are also public events that anyone is free to attend. Hope to see you there!
